Every Step Counts (ESC)

The ‘Every Step Counts’ programme offers a homeschooling experience with small group integration (6:2 / 3:1 ratio). School work is adapted to teaching in the way each child best learns instead of a mainstream one size fits all approach.

ESC is a CambriLearn affiliate partner and a registered Impaq learning center (and learning material is provided by an UMALUSI accredited service provider.) a small group class and adapted to the way they learn versus mainstream education.

The Educators at ESC have extensive experience working with neurodiverse children including ADD/ADHD, Anxiety, PDA, Asperger’s/Autism, and other neurodiversities.

The pace is adjusted to each child’s needs; meaning that more focus is given to the areas where a child needs the most attention. This is done to ensure that the foundation is solid, before moving on to newer information and lessons.

In our small groups we focus on stimulation through engaging methods using hands-on activities, real-life applications, experiential learning, play-based learning, technology, and various techniques known to help neurodiverse learners. We incorporate techniques such as the Wilbarger protocol, Brain gym, HANDLE, Scent therapy, Reflex Integration, Teach Me Language, Visual Schedules, Social Stories, Visual Aids, Movement/Brain Breaks, Affirmations, and more.
