Our ASDAN programme offers an unschooling experience with small group integration (6:2 / 3:1 ratio). This small group helps high school aged students and young adults, as they prefer to be called, to work towards their independence, following their practical interests and vocational skill needs.

We are a registered ASDAN centre, offering a wide variety of programmes of which Towards Independence, Key Steps and different vocational skills are just a few. This group loves to garden, build wooden structures, cook and bake, go shopping, coding and IT skills (using AI, Word, Google, Canva, Excel, typing, Powerpoint), work on conversational skills, learn about history, explore the arts, care for animals, learn self care and more! Their interests guide them.

The ASDAN Educators have extensive experience working with neurodiverse children including ADD/ADHD, Anxiety, PDA, Asperger’s/Autism, and other neurodiversities.

In our small groups we focus on stimulation through engaging methods using hands-on activities, real-life applications, experiential learning, play-based learning, technology, and various techniques known to help neurodiverse learners. We incorporate techniques such as the Wilbarger protocol, Brain gym, HANDLE, Scent therapy, Reflex Integration, Teach Me Language, Visual Schedules, Social Stories, Visual Aids, Movement/Brain Breaks, Affirmations, and more.
